Singers Forum Scholarship Program in cooperation with Actors’ Equity, was launched in 2010 to provide substantially underwritten private voice lessons exclusively to Equity members to serve the needs of the professional musical theatre performer. Equity Members selected for the program take thirteen weekly, private 45-minute voice lessons, including a pianist, for a $49 per class fee – a significant reduction from market rates. The Philip A. Campanella Youth Scholarship Program, for at-risk youths selected for their interest in music, is open to elementary through high school age students from the five boroughs of New York City. This program has been temporarily suspended due to lack of funding, but Singers Forum has high hopes to re-launch this key program in 2011. Click here to learn more.
